Consider C-standards EN 692 or EN 693 for mechanical or hydraulic presses! Otherwise:

S = 2000 * T + 8 * (d - 14 mm)
If d = 14 mm, then S_min = 100 mm
If 14 < d ≤ 30 mm, then S_min = 150 mm

T is the total of response time of the AOPD, safety interface and the stop time of the machine.
d is the detection capability of the AOPD in mm

If S > 500 mm, use the following formula:
S = 1600 * T + 8 * (d - 14 mm)
If after it S < 500 mm, then S_min = 500 mm

Condition: 14 ≤ d ≤ 30 mm
